„Regionality is more than just a buzzword for the restaurant Goldader - Alpine Kulinarik in Tamsweg. The quality of the products and the food used for our dishes has top priority, which you should taste with every bite. Therefore it is important to us to work together with regional partners. This not only supports the regional economy, but also strengthens and implements the idea of sustainability. Since our restaurant not only operates a gourmet kitchen, but also feeds the children of the kindergarden Kinderland Pagitsch and employees at lunchtime, the use of regional food also goes hand in hand for this area", says head chef Edgar Erlacher.
The Goldader restaurant has now been certified for the „SalzburgerLand Herkunfts-Zertifikat" with its regional cuisine, whereby dishes with the seal of origin may be advertised if the main ingredient of the dish can be proven to come from Salzburg. Responsible for this is the Salzburg agricultural marketing - a closed association with the chairmain LR Sepp Schwaiger. The aim is to support local agriculture and processing companies so that more regional products are used in gastronomy as well as in schools, kindergardens, retirement homes, etc. With short transport routes and the use of local products, a significant contribution is made to climate, nature and animal protection.
The quality seall AMA Genussregion guarantees guests that the food comes from teh region, has high product and processing quality, protects the climate thanks to short transport routes and fresh preparation thanks to many years of experience and traditional crafsmanship. This award also stands for transparency when purchasing meat, eggs, milk and dairy products. The certificate is checked during an annual on-site audit by an independent external control company.
The restaurant Goldader can now count itself among the eight certified catering establishments in Salzburger Land that demonstrably place great value on regional cuisine and the use of regional fresh products of the highest quality.
