The Badbox is Pagitsch's fast and affordable prefabricated bathroom system. Thanks to its modular design, assembly takes just 48 hours, without compromising on individual design. You can choose from a variety of glass, coatings, tiles, or decorative panels for your dream bathroom. The underlying basic structure remains the same: a load-bearing tubular floor, a mounting frame with adjustable supports, a base plate, a floor with standard underfloor heating, a well-insulated metal stud wall, and a waterproofed plasterboard on the inside – that's it.
Specially developed precision machines are fed the CAD plans and implement them in a flash. The time saved also translates into additional cost savings, as rooms (for example, in hotels or healthcare facilities) are idle for less time.
The innovative bathbox concept has been put into practice, for example, at the Leuwaldhof Children's and Youth Rehabilitation Center. Austria's first family-oriented rehabilitation center was built in 2017 and opened in 2018. It is open to children and adolescents (0 to 18 years old) with cancer and metabolic disorders. The goal is the best possible recovery of health and extensive reintegration into school or work.
During rehabilitation, the young patients are accommodated in the inpatient wing, which Pagitsch equipped with 33 bathboxes. For longer stays, depending on the age group, a special needs kindergarten, a sanatorium school including an upper secondary school, and access to career guidance are also integral components of the rehabilitation program.
Pagitsch GesmbH has a big heart for children, as is particularly evident in its own children's area – so it was a matter close to the hearts of its employees to support the construction of the Leuwaldhof children's and youth rehabilitation center. The Pagitsch prefabricated bathrooms were completely prefabricated in the in-house production facility in Tamsweg, transported to St. Veit, and hoisted to their destinations by crane. The on-site work was quickly completed with the connection of the bathroom units to the risers.
The project in Pongau demonstrated that low costs and quick installation are the unbeatable advantages of bathroom boxes. Furthermore, there are hardly any interfaces between different trades (tilers, plumbers, etc.) because Pagitsch handles production from a single source and hardly any on-site work is required. This minimizes coordination effort for builders.
The prefabricated bathroom system from Pagitsch GesmbH is available for orders of five units or more. It is suitable for healthcare facilities as well as accommodation providers. If you are interested in the bathroom boxes, please visit https://badbox.pagitsch.at or contact us directly.
