Tourism businesses are often under construction during the season. This is because every host strives to offer guests the optimum level of comfort and quality. There's a lot to do, because rooms, restaurants, wellness facilities, seminar rooms, and reception all deserve a fresh coat of paint from time to time. Last but not least, the industry is evolving rapidly. This means that a room that was the latest trend seven or eight years ago can now be perceived as outdated.
Pagitsch GesmbH is a sought-after partner for the hotel and restaurant industry. One of the advantages of this leading Lungau company is its precise adherence to schedules – particularly important in this industry, given that there are often only a few weeks available for renovations between the summer and winter seasons. Another advantage is its high-quality, flexible, and contemporary drywall solutions. Especially with its climate-controlled and acoustic ceilings, Pagitsch continues to be considered a pioneer in the construction market.
Since 2020, this has been evident, for example, at the Sonnenhof holiday hotel in Zell am Ziller. The family-run business has been established since 1975 and is located amidst the Tyrolean mountains. The Wildauer family has created a feel-good place for everyone: families with children and teenagers, those seeking relaxation, and even sports enthusiasts.
Pagitsch ensured optimal air conditioning in the 4* Superior hotel in 2020. The groundbreaking CLIMATE ceiling with heating and cooling functions was installed in all rooms, and wall heaters were also installed in the bathrooms. Unlike many other air conditioning system projects, smooth panels were used in the Sonnenhof. Nevertheless, the client's requirement for a short heat-up time and a quick switchover to cooling was fully met. This makes it possible to heat the bathroom and cool the sleeping area practically at the same time.
In implementing the project, Pagitsch once again demonstrated its flexibility, as equipping the Sonnenhof with KLIMA ceilings required adapting to a wide variety of room sizes. The range extends from single and double rooms of around 20 square meters to family rooms of 35 to 60 square meters and suites of up to 75 square meters. The holiday hotel offers a total of 13 different room types.
Are you also the owner of a hotel and restaurant business and therefore an experienced building owner? Then you're surely familiar with the potential downsides of construction projects: lateness from suppliers, poor communication between individual trades, failure to adhere to budgets, and sometimes even inadequate execution.
