Fast, secure, and uncomplicated – that's what companies want when it comes to freight transport, and that's exactly what Tirolia Spedition from Ebbs offers. From Tyrol – Ebbs is located in close proximity to the Inntal Autobahn – the trucks in their signature blue quickly reach Tirolia customers and transport goods reliably to their destinations throughout Europe. The transport company's top-notch service and thus its success are based on the dedication of around 80 highly trained employees. Managing Director Michael Lukasser provided them with a new, innovative office building in 2020. Pagitsch GesmbH played a key role in the realization of this project.
Tirolia Spedition has invested a total of almost 6 million euros to provide its employees with perfect workspaces. These don't necessarily have to be located inside the building, as Michael Lukasser also provided his colleagues with 30 fully functional outdoor workstations for sunny days during the new construction. At the same time, Pagitsch, in collaboration with other highly specialized construction companies, ensured that all occupational health standards are exceeded indoors.
Among other features, the office building features green walls, daylight domes, and spacious workstations with large, anti-reflective monitors, height-adjustable desks, and ergonomic keyboards. Pagitsch's contribution included the special climate ceilings "Made in Tamsweg," which have a cooling or heating effect depending on the temperature and ensure pleasant acoustics. The Tirolia staff also appreciates the air purifying effect of Pagitsch's acoustic design panels.
In Ebbs, the leading Lungau company managed a threefold balancing act. Work on the office project began in September 2019, but the first employees were already in the building by December, meaning work on the ceiling had to be carried out alongside normal operations. The coronavirus lockdown made things even more difficult in March 2020, but the Pagitsch specialists mastered this challenge and were able to complete their work in April.
Another challenge posed itself with the ceiling itself. The new Tirolia building was equipped with a barrel roof – consequently, the interior, and thus the office ceiling, also had to be "curved." Pagitsch met this requirement with its cooling ceiling, proving once again that flexibility is one of the greatest strengths of entering into a construction partnership with us.
