In 2015, Pagitsch made a significant contribution to improving the quality of Austrian tourism with its new construction work on the Villa Blanka in Innsbruck, where young Austrian tourism professionals are being prepared for their careers.

COMBINED SOLUTIONS FOR CLIMATE AND ACOUSTICS

As part of an expansion of the tourism school in 2015, Pagitsch was commissioned to build new training rooms. The leading Lungau company took the opportunity to demonstrate its particular expertise in combined solutions for climate and acoustics. This was particularly evident in suspended cooling acoustic ceilings, which were installed in a stepped configuration and thus contribute to speech support in the lecture rooms. The proven CLIMATE ceiling with perforated acoustic panels was chosen as the basic design, which dampens and channels sound in high-ceilinged rooms. In addition, CLIMATE ceiling sails with a sawtooth-shaped soffit were installed to ensure an optimal overall impression for room cooling, heating, and acoustics.

The 2015 renovation was one of many expansion phases at Villa Blanka. The technical college in Innsbruck is now one of the most modern educational institutions in the country and prides itself on its practical and internationally oriented curriculum. It relies on a four-pillar model consisting of practical tourism training (kitchen and restaurant), business training, language training, and general tourism-related education. This high-quality education goes hand in hand with a high-quality residential campus, which not only offers boarding but also offers students top-notch recreational opportunities, including its own fitness studio. Numerous awards attest to the high standards of Villa Blanka.
